I am not aware of a EU release. It should be merged with 30229 as a dupe.

I'm trying to clear up the listings for Chrono Cross to differentiate versions of the Greatest-Hits release. I think there were two versions of the Greatest-Hits game released by Square-Enix; one with silver-bottom discs, which was through online stores, and the other which had the standard black-bottomed discs.

I made a listing for the silver discs, but they both have the same disc image.

^^ This is the silver-bottomed variant; you can tell from the clear middle of the disc. Below are the black-bottomed discs

I'm trying to change the disc pictures for the black-bottomed listing so it has the correct image, but it was rejected. I'm going to reformat my image so it looks better and then I'll resubmit it; I just wanted to let the mods know what I was doing :)

NOTE: The same happened with the re-releases of Final Fantasy IX. That game has all the correct listings, but they need images. I'll send those in soon too.

This is a case of having more information than the database current can account for. I do not think it is (currently) a good idea to add this kind of variation. Rather, you can put in the description that the actual discs may be of x types, and then when you add the item into your collection, use the Notes portion to put which one you have.

This is my opinion.

I respectfully disagree. We have three variations of the color of the label for Dragon Warrior on the NES, and two variants of Super Mario Bros. 3 just for the placement of "bros" on the cartridge. We also have 5 and 3 screw cart variants for every applicable NES game too. Not to mention the many different listings of Atari games that are in the database (sometimes 4 variants for a single game).

Why would this variant not be acceptable for listing? We already have entries just like this for FF IX in the database; keep in mind that this is not only a simple variation, but an entirely different release of the game.

That's just my opinion, the mods are free to delete my entry if they would like to. :)

I see your point. I think I misunderstood your reason for posting in this thread originally. Keep up the good work!  :D

I don't really know if that the right place to post that but in a way it's an error in the name of a game so... i was checking my PS2 collection one last time (to complete some empty field) before going to another platform but i couldn't find my "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary" with my others Lara Croft Tomb Raider (i call them that way since it's the way it's written on the case), i finally found it under the name "Tomb Raider: Anniversary" and seen that the name have been edited to erase the "Lara Croft" of the title. In fact almost every Lara Croft Tomb Raider games have been edited in the same way. I thought we had to put the name as it is written on the case, that's not the way it is anymore ? Do i have to make an edit for the others "Lara Croft Tomb Raider" games that i have too ? I don't really understand, i know it's the more common title used by people for that game but shouldn't we put it in the "Alt-Name" Field and not directly in the title as it is explained in the style guide ?

In the end i really don't mind both names but i just want to know under what name they have to be put in the database now and if other games will have the same treatment (like those with a name before the title : Frank Herbert's Dune, Peter Jackson's King Kong, etc...).

Here is another one, this time the 3DS eShop.  Again, this doesn't exist.  You can't download it, you can't buy it, you can't own it.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary should be Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary. It says so on the spine, and in the copyright info block on the back. I looked at the Xbox 360 cover scan for confirmation.

Thanks i wanted to hear someone else opinion before i start to edit all Tomb Raider (Anniversary, Legend and Angel of Darkness) who don't have their accurate titles (in fact i think i will probably check every Tomb Raider games to complete their data, i see so many empty field that need some little data ;D ).

I'm going to resend the edits tonight hopefully and update the listings for FF IX as well!

Sent in these edits again for Chrono Cross

For FFIX, edited both the SE releases to designate between the black and silver bottomed discs. I added images for the different discs, and adjusted the names to make them both "Final Fantasy IX - Greatest Hits, Square-Enix Release (Black or Silver Bottoms)"

I also edited the Squaresoft release to include that same information in the title like I did with Chrono Cross - "Final Fantasy IX - Greatest Hits, Squaresoft Release"

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions! It is very confusing  :-[

This doesn't exist: http://vgcollect.com/item/96068
The EU version's subtitle is called Successor of the Skies. The North American release is called Sin & Punishment: Star Successor.

This also doesn't exist (or at least not for the moment): http://vgcollect.com/item/96064
It belongs in the eShop WiiU Nintendo Network section, but if I submit an edit to change it to that, it'll just make a dupe.

This was just added...

RoboCop 3 (US Master System) http://vgcollect.com/item/96146

To the best of my knowledge this didn't get a stateside release and the owner invariably has a EU copy. They also added an entry for Bart Vs. The World but that appears to have been deleted already.
