I sent him a message asking if he is possibly going to make a basic tier of just physical game only. Hope so cause $130 sucks.

Updating this since I forgot. The Good life has made its goal. So far, the only way to get a physical PS4 copy of this game is to back it (Im not sure if there is going to be a slacker backer option) at the $120ish level.

Is it exclusive though? From what I've seen kickstarters are getting increasingly slippery with these developers working with publishers and just using the platform as advertising.

I would be surprised if it stayed exclusive, but I figure this particular variant will only exist through Kickstarter. I figure it's likely for it to be released again as a non-KS exclusive edition and/or on another platform if it does well enough.

That's where I am with it, hope it does succeed but that kind of money isn't available to just throw at one game. My last big expense was pre-ordering the special edition of Metal Max Xeno, but that's just £20 more than a retail copy and comes with a soundtrack.

I've been off KS stuff lately...

Bushiden (PS4) with a physical release.  Only 1,500 copies being produced allegedly as part of this KS.  But doesn't release for 2 years.

Well Ive committed to the Resident Evil 2 Board Game but as far as video game KS's go I went in on a couple of Switch games, 198X and Island.
198X is an adventure set within a dingy arcade in the 80's, featuring a variety of games and playstyles. The music is being done by Yuzo Koshiro.
Island is a beautifully crafted strategy survival game, a throwback to some of the older pc games some of you may remember. Hunt, craft, explore, survive.

Can't wait for these!
