Personally in terms of original games I don't think the PSP is that great; but it is the ultimate machine for J-RPG ports and it allowed me to get many games that hadn't released in my region before.

However in terms of original games; there are a few...

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

It's true - the PSP was probably the best for providing us with some updated JRPG ports, and I'm very grateful for it. Otherwise, we wouldn't have gotten the older Personas or the first Star Ocean (at least, not until a digital-only version at some point, I'm sure). Tactics games were pretty sweet as well, on this system. The one game that probably sucked me in the most was Ys Seven.  It also has the exclusive (for now) Valkyria Chronicles II.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is still considered one of the best games you can get for the PSP. I still have yet to play it   :-[ (but at least I own it).

I love the PSP. It's probably my favorite portable console. I got one when it was first released back in 2005 and played it so much that that battery had to be replaced. I drained it, recharged it, and drained it so many times that it ended up getting overworked. Some of my favorite games are:

Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
Ys 7
Ys: The Oath in Felghana

Thanks to it being a region free system, I was able to play a ton of fantastic import titles. Here are some of my favorites:

Tales of Destiny 2
Tales of Rebirth
Valkyria Chronicles 3
Breath of Fire III
Tales of Eternia

The subforum has been adapted to allow for various Youtube channels since Retro Reload wasn't quite as active. If anyone seems to be abusing, though, we will look into it.

Easy to miss :) We were quiet about it, that's for sure. But the Retro Reload folks thought it'd be best to open the subforum to more people :)
