Forum Still Shows New Posts Status After I Check a Board

Pretty much what the title says. The forum is still lit-up like there's new posts I haven't seen, after checking the said forum. It should be faded out after checking it.

I imagine it has something to do with the switch to https

I do not have this issue.  You pages might just be getting cached.

Try Ctrl + F5 on the forum home page.

Well, it seems to be only my work computer. Everything is fine at home.

The forum page was also randomly crashing and showing without the table and background pics.

I just assumed it had to do with the switch-over, because oddly enough, it's only this site that it was happening on.

Well, I take that back. It just did it again, at home this time. Two completely different computers.

Not the weird page-crash thing, though. Just showing new posts in a forum after just checking it.

Using Google Chrome, on both computers.

I am seeing it on Firefox, not on Palemoon.

this happens to me all the time also. it gets a little annoying sometimes and is caused (from what I can tell) by always using the links next to your picture (show unread and show new replies).

^ I don't use those. I just check each board that's lit-up with new posts.

I've gotten this a few times, but I always suspect it has to do with how slow my internet is sometimes.  But I was getting this before the move to https, so it really could be my internet being so slow.

It logs you out after you see the page like this?

When you go into one of the boards that are marked as having new posts, does it show the latest post as new as well, or does it show it as read even though the main board says there are new replies?

I'll have to check the next time, as it doesn't happen every time.

And yes, it logs me out after I see the crashed page.

Okay, well it just happened after I posted that, lol. And yes, it does show the thread itself, that I just checked, as having a "new" symbol next to it.

Revision to what I said before. I mean it works in Chrome (not Firefox) but not always in Palemoon.

Also that screenshot is not the forum crashing. It indicates a connection was reset, and did not finish loading the page resources including images and the CSS.

I have seen some intermittant slowdown issues since the SSL update, mostly on the site proper but not on the forum portion.
