keyboard confusion

i just reinstall windows and now when i press caps lock or ctrl it makes sound effects (it sounds like pong)

how do i fix this

That sounds pretty cool actually, why would you want to change it?

You probably just need to reinstall the drivers for your keyboard.

i have a laptop so do i  reinstall the drivers

Yeah you probably don't have the right keyboard drivers or something.

Keyboards don't really have drivers unless they have additional functions (like the Logitech G15, etc). Head into Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Ease of Access Center > Make it easier to focus on tasks, and make sure Toggle Keys is turned off (this is assuming you're running Windows 7).
