I like playing by myself most times. But with party oriented games like Nintendo Land, Wii Party, or Overcooked 2 as examples, I would much rather play with friends.

Unless it's Smash Bros. or something, I prefer it solo. Sometimes it's fun when a friend who's interested in a game I'm playing watches and asks questions. I've had a brother watch me play Grandia II and he was asking about the nuances of the game, the differences between it and the first one, etc.

Recently I've been playing Stardew Valley with a friend who's much further along than I am and she's been showing me a lot of tips on what to do. It's been fun :)
