last year my dividend income was right around $6500 this year it should end at ~$6900. if I were to actually take the cash then I would easily pull in my rent each month.

I don't mean to get involved, but I see exactly why the administrators are not banning Seether. Being a small time admin in my past. I know that it's almost impossible to  keep someone from changing their account, or even worse keep someone from changing their IP address on the internet, or even device for that manner. Seether I think he or she knows this already, the best advice I can give is either to ignore his or her posts or in my case, just reply if he or she actually contributes to the forum in a positive way.

People like him or her just don't give up, until their all burned out mentally or get more mature.

My projected annual is just above that, but I don't ever see this money. I know that my grandma used to get dividend checks when she had stocks, and she would use them to go on family vacations. I recall that this was the reason why I got to go to Disney World in 1987. But for myself, I will not get any checks from mine. That money just gets re-invested. I'll see it when I retire.

Yeah mine just gets reinvested back into the stocks that produce them. If anyone does not know there is an account you can open called a DRIP account (Divided Re-Investment Plan) your dividend gets paid out in more stock, instead of cash, at a price that is lower than market price. so its definitely value added to anyone who specifically buys dividend stocks.
