(Inside flap) The KINGDOM HEARTS series is an action role-playing game in which characters from the FINAL FANTASY universe adventure through the worlds of Disney and interact with its characters. The series has garnered a massive following around the world. No.3 Riku Riku had fallen once to the darkness. Sora had lost his memory and turned into a heartless until his best friend brought him back by challenging Sora's Nobody, Roxas. Though he barely won the battle against Roxas, Riku was able to wake Sora from his long sleep. Riku had to release the darkness still contained within his heart, and so decided he would stay behind, in the Realm of Darkness. The two best friends are now split between the lands of light and dark. During the course of the story, though they often come very close to each other, their paths never cross. Even so, Sora continues to try and bring his best friend back in to the Realm of Light. Can Riku's heart be freed from the shackles of darkness by the voice of his dear friend? Riku, like his best friend Sora, is a young man who has always been fascinated by the world outside of his home of Destiny Islands. After many twists and turns, and finally saving the world alongside Sora, he chose to remain in the Realm of Darkness.Even while enveloped in darkness, Riku still felt Sora's presence at all times, and he continued to grow from the day they saved the world together.With his signature Way to the Dawn keyblade, Riku continues his fight, struggling between light and darkness. He wears a melancholic expression with a sort of nostalgia that only a person who has known both light and dark intimately can. |
