echochrome ii is the sequel to the hugely successful brain bender “echochrome”; and it’s even more devious, challenging and rewarding than its predecessor. Before you lies a strange environment. You can see your character; you can see the exit at the end of the level, but there is clearly no way to reach it. The motion controller acts like a torch, throwing light onto the environment and creating shadows on the wall behind. These shadows are the key to solving each puzzle – you need to experiment, manoeuvring them and using them to gain access to otherwise unreachable areas. You’ll be hooked by the time you’ve solved your first puzzle and as the challenges get harder you’ll find yourself calling on previously untapped pools of creativity and logic. There are a variety of entertaining game modes to try and once you’ve honed your skills, you can even create your own levels to share with friends, or upload clips to YouTube so everyone can see how good you are! |
