HOME BASE LOADING THE PROGRAM 1. Insert the cassette and rewind to the beginning. 2. Ensure the remote lead is plugged in. 3. Depress the PLAY button on the cassette recorder. 4. Type CLOADM:CLOADM and press enter. The program will then autorun when finished loading. 5. If any of the program fails to load, adjust the volume and tone-controls, rewind the tape and try again. The object of the game is to survive in the laserdome and score points shooting the laser balls, that are trapped within the confines of the walls. Every time that you make contact with a laser ball your shield energy will be decreased by one point, and once this counter reaches zero you will lose control of your craft and explode. Contact with any of the walls is also fatal. As each screen is cleared you will be manoeuvred back to homebase to start the next wave, which will increase in numbers with each screen. By the side of your homebase launch pad is another energy indicator which displays the amount of time left before your homebase disappears. Homebase is used when you need time for a clearing to appear in the laser balls, as when you are parked on it a protective force field keeps the laser balls away. Because you only get one homebase per game you should use it sparingly. One player game use right joystick - Two players use both. Program written by Kieron Spinner. Published by: cable software |
