My Original Xbox went to slumber and now I don't have one :(.   So perhaps one of those.

But I would also love a few of the odder things.  Like certain game and watch consoles.

And a Vectrex is my most wanted console ever.  I don't think i'd ever play it enough to warrant the price tag.  But that's lottery kinda money goals.  If I had excess to throw around and no other obligations.  I'd probably buy one. :)

I'd love a Nego Geo Pocket Color, a Turbo Grafx 16 CD or Turbo Duo and an Atari Lynx

I've toyed with the idea of getting a 32X from time to time, but I can't justify it- the cost of the system, the costs of the 3 games I'd want to have, knowing they're aren't really more than those 3 I want, knowing that those 3 aren't the greatest of games anyway, not having the space above my genesis to accomodate it... too much money & too much hassle for not enough game. (For the curious, I'd want to have Knuckles Chaotix, Kolibiri, & Tempo.)

Other than that, everything that's already out that I want, I have. I actually picked up a Vectrex this summer & an original Gameboy in the fall to close things out. There's upcoming systems, of course- at some point I will want a PS5 and/or Xbox Scarlett, I'm interested in the Intellivision Amico, and I wait with baited breath for the Playdate preorders to open.

An atari 2600 or 7800. I want to start collecting for the Atari

The 7800 is backward compatible with the majority of the 2600 library. If you get one of those, you can start collecting for both systems. ;)

I only have a couple of N64 variants on my wishlist in terms of consoles I think.

I'd like a cd-i or some of the cd add-ons for the various consoles, but I have no intent of getting into new consoles to collect for, so meh.

I thought long and hard about if there are any consoles I still really want at this point, and honestly the answer is no. There are a few that I think would be cool to own, but I'm not going to sweat it if I never obtain them. Here is that want, but could live without list.

- Star Wars Edition XBOX 360 Slim
- Mountain Dew original XBOX
- Neo Geo Pocket Color (the navy blue, marble looking one)
- 25th Anniversary PS4

I'd like to have a switch, but with us getting my son one for Christmas, I'd probably just use his to play certain games I want until the Lites have been out for awhile and I catch a deal. Other than that I would love to have a Sega Genesis again. I had one of the original release ones and it was either stolen, or borrowed and I don't remember to whom. I would be interested in collecting select Genesis releases.

Right now, I am very happy with my PS4 and PC.

Aside from any possible consoles in the coming years, I think I am set. I think the last retro console I bought was the Atari 2600 and by bought I mean given for free when I said I was going to buy. I intend on getting rid of that one since its not my thing but aside from that, I have all the consoles I need and dont have much interest in anything else I dont have honestly.

Turbo Duo is the only system I really want that I never purchased.
I started picking up most of the CD games about 10 years ago, but never threw down the cash for the hardware.

Present, Neo Geo Pocket Color. Once reliable translation software surfaces, PC-FX.

The entex Adventure vision... Not gonna happen though, they are incredibly rare and expensive... I am happy though to finally get a 60GB backwards compatible ps3. Besides that, maybe a psp go just to have one

Well, I was trying to get an MSX2+ for quite some time, but I'm currently satisfied with my plain MSX2 now, so I won't count it (even though I would still buy one if I could find it for a good price).
I'm still activelly looking for a reasonably priced 32X (well, this is actually an add-on, so maybe it can't be considered a console, but...) and for a Virtual Boy. I lost the opportunity to buy them for fairly cheap some years ago, and now they cost fairly more than they deserve... Haha

Yeah, my wantlist/wishlist is mainly filled with games, but there are some consoles in there with games for them, as well.

I’d like to get a Sega Dreamcast with around 20 games for it; I’m also interested in both the XBOX and XBOX 360 with 11 and 30 games for each respectively; and I would also like to own a Wii U, which I might probably end up getting soon-ish since I’m only interested in about 10 games for it. And of course, I’d like to also add a Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation 4 to my collection. All in due time.
