I can't know for sure on many and i'm just estimating. But Call of Duty World At War was a game I started playing when it first came out in 2008. I was in 5th grade, and I used to play on Xbox 360 Xbox Live with my 11 year old friends just completely binging it. My brothers, my brothers friends. We had a giant clan. I mean on summer vacation, it was everything. From the moment we woke up, until the moment I went to bed. A good portion of my family. It was special. And at the time it was new and amazing. This continued for many years. Then I was in middle school 7th until 8th grade. And me and my best friend at the time played nazi zombies every single day. Looking up cheats and hacks to survive until round 100 and pack a punching all the DLC guns on der reise. But mostly nacht der untoten. I have played this game easily more than any other game. And even still all these years later I recently did a veteran play through (which is hell). I think it's one of those games that i'll fire up and reminisice until the end of time. It brings back so many fun memories that I wish I could relive
As for a few of the other ones. Like NFL, NBA and Forza. Those 3 games are designed to consume time and be addictive. they just really absorb you. The level up system, the idea of making more and more money fuels you to play more but than you can get the car you always wanted but then you realize a month went by
