wii don't see gamecube controller

I buy gamecube controller for me wii get home set up gamedisc memory card and plug controller but sad for me wii dosn't see controller ports in consol are ok (famili trainer for wii uses this ports for dancing mat) i open up controller and check connection between cableand plug but everything sims fine what can i do ebay refund is quite out of option i don't have money to pay refund shiping to japan from me pocket

I don't know much about the Wii, but what video game are you trying to play? either the GameCube controller is not compatible with the game more than likely.

if you have an actual GameCube try plugging the controller into a GameCube and see if the controller works on an actual GameCube

Or

Try another try a GameCube game not a Wii game, I don't think the GameCube controller is compatible with Wii game playing on Wii.

I don't think you can play Wii games with an actual GameCube controller

Is it a Nintendo controller, or a third party controller? Some third party Gamecube controllers aren't recognized by the Wii (which is why my fiancé's family ended up keeping their Gamecube after getting a Wii- my brother in law's preferred controller wasn't Wii compatible.)

its genuine indigo controller and i tested cable conection it isn't broken (easiest thing to repare )

found issue its 2xcrack in pcb very big im gona try to repaire it this weekend i hope scalpel+soldering+epoxy gona save this controller
