Decided on a whim to pop into Goodwill while I was out and found these two.  Carnage heart is missing the main game, but it has everything else.

Decided on a whim to pop into Goodwill while I was out and found these two.  Carnage heart is missing the main game, but it has everything else.

WOW! God, I miss when you could find stuff like this all the time. All the Goodwill's in my area are notorious for placing all games on ebay, mostly. One Goodwill about a year ago had a bunch of common, sub-$5 NES games they wanted between $15 and $50 each. There was a post about it on a local collectors Facebook group I belong to, and it was worth a good laugh. We have a few other thrifts, but it's almost just as hard to find deals like this there anymore. Excellent pickups though.

Yes they did, I think the only game I picked up from Walmart this year was Just Dance 2020 for Wii for $25.

Most of what I wanted was out of stock since Black Friday, and it basically went in stock once Cyber Week had ended. I also had a coupon and they didn't even honor it.

I know it all pales in comparison to a weekly Flea pickup, but here's a bunch of stuff I got this past month and holiday 2019.

I had a death in the family the week before Christmas so this year was probably the least festive, cheerful Christmas I've ever had. Gifts were a little more sparse this year since my fiancee and I are currently saving for our honeymoon (hoping to go to Japan this summer), so we had a pretty strict budget for one another. The first pic are gifts I got for Christmas which really cheered me up.


The second pic is from some light game hunting I did while out and about this afternoon. I actually had no idea that Final Fantasy 7/8 got a physical release and the best part is that it's all in english (Asia region though)! I local game store that is good about stocking imports had a couple of copies and I knew immediately that I was going to buy it with some Xmas money I received!
