I feel this game is often looked down upon now, most people note the mid-qulaity voice acting and the laughing scene and write it off. I actually believe it is probably the best Final Fantasy overall! It just excels in every aspect very well, from the writing, world building, characters, music, battle system, weapons/ability upgrade, & tons of extra content. It's easily the FF i recommend to newcomers or FF & JRPG's alike.
