Every Game Considered RARE for Each Platform
« on: August 04, 2020, 12:05:49 pm »
I was wondering if you guys could help me jot down every single game for every gaming system out there. Everything from Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Sony, and Microsoft across all generations.

I know a lot of you may have different expertise in differents areas of gaming.

And when I say rare, I mean actually rare! Not games with inflated prices simply because they are highly sought after or have slightly less prints. No EarthBounds here!

And yes, I know newer systems are harder to gauge the library of rarities. But we can all give our best estimate as of the current game market, right?

RULES
List format, and make it look neat
NA, EU, and JP in your list, and seperately
Group different consoles and regions in seperate lists
Retail releases only
No "special edition" stuff, just the market value of complete in box games

Consoles
Atari 2600
NES
Master System
Genesis
SNES
PS1
Saturn
N64
Dreamcast
Gamecube
PS2
Xbox
Xbox 360
Wii

Wii U
PS4
Xbox One
Switch

Handhelds
Gameboy
Game Gear
Atari Lynx
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance

3DS

Need clarification. Retail releases only? No out of band stuff like Car License for Game Gear?

lol, seriously.

"Please do all this lengthy research for me so I don't have to, and oh yeah, you better have it in an orderly list, too."

I'm asking to those who already have it stored in their brain.

The ones I can think of on the top of my head

PS1

Name/Price
LSD Dream Emulator/1200$~
Jojo's Bizzare Adventures/600$~

N64

Ducktales 2?/400$? (Can't remember the system for this rare piece.)

NES

Bubble Bubble 2/350$

This is what I can think of at the moment. I may edit later if I remember more.

I don't think print numbers are widely known in general, so who's to say Earthbound isn't one of the lowest printed SNES games.

NES

Was my #1 most wanted game on my wishlist, until Capcom released the Disney Afternoon game collection for modern systems and I was able to get it for much cheaper.

Yep, but still can't beat having the original cartridge!

I can if it's at least $200, lol.

I don't know how reliable that site is, some of their rarity values are really really off. For example they have Final Fantasy X at a higher rarity value than Rule of Rose on the PS2 which is absolutely ridiculous considering how you can find FFX literally anywhere and for about $10 meanwhile RoR is actually really rare and goes for like $200+ . Plus their current pricing value is also garbage and reflects nothing of current market value.

Stadium Events for the NES/Nintendo Entertainment System?
and
Gold Nintendo World Championship cartridge? for the NES/Nintendo Entertainment System?

But that knowledge I got was after watching various YouTube videos based off retro gaming
