Doom: The Dark Ages was confirmed for a May 15th release date.  It does look like more of what Eternal was, which I didn't love, I liked having ammo and health packs on the ground more than having to do specific kills and the map design opening up more ended up not being quite as fun, but it's gonna be a good game.  I'll probably grab it down the road as I'm unlikely to buy much around that May/June window due to the Switch 2 supposedly releasing around then.

*EDIT* They are changing the gameplay up abit, I didn't watch the full reveal for it until now, but looks like they want to do more direct battle stuff with the game, using your shield to parry, so it sorta feels like they are slowing things down a tad, less of the speed comboing the game had with Eternal, so might turn out to be what I wanted, which is something that is kind of inbetween 2016 and Eternal.  They are losing the glory kill which is...mixed.  I was kinda tired of it in Eternal as you had to use it so often to get ammo/health, but now they are pretending it's a "free-form" glory kill, which just means you get the glory kill reward, with any attack when they are dazed, so no violent animation per enemy, which seems like a bit of a cop out lol

I'm definitely interested, however Doom is starting to feel a lot less like Doom with each new installment. Doom Eternal was fine, but it didn't even come close to doing it for me like Doom 2016 did. Dark Ages looks like some hybrid game, they ID combined Doom and Hexen, but kept the Doom name for sales. I'll probably end up getting Dark Ages eventually, but my expectations are certainly measured with this one.

Although technically 2026 now. I cant find a thread for that. But

Well safe to say Rockstar games is the really gorgeous cheerleader in a class full of introverts that so desperately have crushed for a decade but keep getting curved last minute lol.  But it doesnt stop her from flirting casually and snatching your breath...   that's this trailer. Anotjer hype magnet. The trailers are becoming painful lol.

Maybe 2026 the popular crush GTA 6 will finally take the proverbial class clown (the gamerverse) to prom.  And all the dreams come true.  Until then. Metaphorical butterflies and staring from down the hall way for the gamers of the world.

My wishes are

1. Its under 100 dollars (unlikely)
2. It has cross play online
3. It has a collectors edition that is readily available at launch
4. No more delays

Loved this trailer. Absolutely adored this trailer.  Definitely feels like Lucinda and Jason have a very bonnie and clyde vibe. I do love the differing ethnic backgrounds of florida. Seems to be done tastefully like gta 5. And not poorly like disney.  It gives it a real feel.

I like GTA, but am by no means one of those people who obsesses over it like it's part of their personality. With that said, I definitely will not buy this game if $100 at launch, or even the usual $70. Like GTA5, I'll wait to buy it used a year or so later for way less. I feel like my top dollar on this game is probably $50. With that said, the second trailer definitely caught my interest more than the first. It should be a good game.

I really hope it isnt 100 because i'll be on a moral fence on weather to buy it.  I'm hoping they at least adhere to Nintendo and xbox and go 80. Right now. Rockstar has too much power. They could make it 150 and people would still buy it. It's scary. Hopefully they do the right thing.

However the trailers have put one of peoples biggest worries about GTA 6 to rest.  Which has me stoked.

Will the current climate force rockstar to water down their product to appease pundits.  Make it less crude. Less loud. Less offensive.   Most call this "woke" lol. But the term causes fights so I try to avoid using it.  But will it be?

Seemingly the answer is a resounding no.

If its reasonably priced. Itll be a day one for me for sure.  This trailer has me really amped now.  They know their marketing for sure.
