Are you absolutely certain it's a legit cover?

The actual misprint flaws aside, the letters look blurry and the whites are not white with smudges which happens to a far lesser degree on even good repro's. still if you'd ask me the blue ink leaking into the white cover is a big red flag. screams like it being a printed cover.

if you actually want to be sure it's a legit cover. get a real one and look closely at the print. if it's a repro cover you will see that it's more blurry especially in terms of the letters.

also if you want a better opinion on here. show us some huge pictures of the letters on he backside, especially the smaller stuff.  Show also some pictures of the backside in more detail/ bigger pictures do it in chunks for bigger image.

your current pictures are pretty blurry and just give a rough image of the big flaws.

I took the picture from their website. then I couldnt upload it due to being the wrong file size so i went to paint  and saved it as an different file type.

here is an link to the sold listing maybe those pictures are better for you

Coming from nedgame it does change stuff a bit but still no guarantees that the middle men they got it from didn't just print a cover cause of damage. check the print for sure I'd say. if possible just visit a nedgame and compare it with a normal usa copy.

Nedgame defo the no1 game store in the country in terms of size, but I wouldn't call em experts, they made some huge mistakes in the past. Had so many deals from that store some of the employees know quite a bit but overall I wouldn't say there knowledge is great, abused em so much they even changed some rules thanks to me in which they can alter the price even if you bought it at a certain price ::) their old stock that popped up from time to time was actually crazy

just giving you an example when cover is printed.

from a distance it looked great but than up close. just be sure to play close attention if it's more blurry in comparison to a real copy. even in this misprinted shape it should still be consistent at the normal parts.

right is a fake reprint, they usually have higher quality of front box art so it's harder to notice on those usually (still noticable). but for whatever reason barcodes and small text always gets messed during printing. color diff was mainly water damage but the letters being more blurry was a clear give away.

also definitely do share some huge pictures of the backside in chunks. than more folks can give an actual opinion. cause no guarantees it's legit. middle men could have just messed stuff up or some employee doing some shady stuff. Might have been water damage etc.

and I doubt it would be worth it to fake it nedgame sold it for 45 bucks.  thats a whole lot of effort to go trough to sell it for the normal price pretty much.

I will make some pictures of it next to my own copy  when i reive it though.

just dont expect too much my camera isnt the best sicne its OLD. and I dont own an smartphone so using that camera isnt an option either:P

You don't need to cancel it before receiving it. you got 14 days to make a choice to keep it or not. wouldn't worry about that your fine in terms of that.

also allot of pretty older digital camera's even if kinda cheap do surpass the last few gens of iphone. it's shocking tbh considering how much people hype it up. camera quality of an iphone is actually kinda shit if you'd ask me. the colors and overall quality are trash. even a 10-15+ year old camera that was 100+ $ from a decent brand will be much better.

will be interesting to see the pictures though.

it's cause they make decent quality pictures still way better than smart phones. it still has a usage these days.

still unless your camera broken you good in terms of picture quality I'd say that's a good brand.

also it's kinda shocking how it's almost the same price used almost 20 years later as it's brand new price of 200$ back in the day. that's insane tbh but after experiencing crappy modern smart phone camera's on even 1K+ $ phones I could definetely see it lol.

wel I just got it in  but it turned out I have the asian version. should still work mostly but I have serieus doubts about it being real now myself. I will post the pictures in a bit  but  1 thing I notice I cnat show in an picture is the cover seems to be a bit too big. in switch games normaly the cover is thighly pushed  between the plastic to keep it in place. here areound the spine of the case I can push it in a bit.

Could you maybe give me a closeup of the letters of this picture and try to make it with with better light.

especially the white small text.

the letters look insanely blurry but just need to make sure.

just a close pic of a couple words. get a setting for close pictures and do it under proper light.

So I've gotto say in my humble opinion yours is probably a printed cover,

Original usa print at the top, vs yours blurry at the bottom. the difference is too huge for it to be legit. it's not just blurry, the letters ain't fully white plus they have black outlines.  It looks like it's been printed on a consumer printer. and it also has different flaws that look like that off a regular printer.

I think the middlemen that sell to stores messed up and had some damaged copies but the contents are unused. so they printed some and called it a day. and since that is an official source for stores to buy games nedgame can call it legit.

Now there might be a 1% shot that this might be legit but I think it's unlikely personally. I've heard of some smudged factory sealed copies before. but can't recall where. was some time ago.

since you have 14 day refund timer. post it on a reddit game or switch collecting thread and see if another misprint collector has more info on it or perhaps has comparable switch games with same kinda details etc. fish for some reactions.

the mentioned friend was pretyt sure it was legit though and I know he has a lot ofknowledge about printing etc so I honeslty dont know what to believe at this point.

the middleman story makes no sense though. I mean why  put this one like this and not print 1 without damage? only to risk  it getting returned. it just doesnt seem fesable and or worth the risk for so little money.

I despice it but I am considering getting it graded. I dont care if it gets an 1 or 10  its just to authenticate it.

also not sure if you sued my pictures but my evrsion was an asian one. I thought I had the us version but whas wrong.  the front is the same so that shouldnt mather but the nacks are in fact different.

either way honestly i dont know what to do at this point. grading is extremely expensive probatly 80 to 100 bucks at least. and you risk it egtting lost as well:(

also I have no idea how to even do it.

the only thing I am sure about is that if I go the grading route it wont be wata

they are piece of shit scammers
