What are some of the worst games you've ever played?
marvelvscapcom2:
1. NEED FOR SPEED 2015 game Need for speed is up there. Everything about that game annoys me. Every character within is a bad stereotype. It's like if you asked a 53 yr old Pantera fan to write characters that they think Millenials sound and act like you'd get this game. "Hey dude. I'm chucking revs at old ladies and drinking white claw. Come commit felonies with me or you're a square dude" uninteruptable phone calls mid race. Mid chase. Brrrr. Brrrr. Brrr. "Hey its Ashley. Dude you totally owned the pigs today. Smell ya l8er dooooood" always online EA nonsense mixed with terrible design options. Limited garage space. Rainy night time all the time. No day. Vampire level. Poor environment. Terrible plot. Plot is essentially "here is an iconic japanese car builder. Race him for no reason to earn street cred. Brrr brrr brrrr. "Hey. Bro. I'm in Juvie. Come blow spit wads at a nun with me. Yeahhh totally bro. Rad. Monster energy and cussing at my mom. Yeahhh" im so over it. Im over the always online server bound to go offline. I think its a dark cog in the need for speed machine. To have no pause menu in a racing game with cops is already hell. To have a game that forces you to answer the phone mid race. Or hear constant vibrating of a phone. Its like please make it stop. It's torture.
2. NFL Tour - Imagine nfl street 2 with none of the cool moves, no gamebreakers and terribly cheesy commentators.
3. Pokémon lets go pikachu sold it in 2 days. I love pokemon yellow. Its a top 15 game all time imo and here comes the long awaited remaster or revision. To put it bluntly... I beat brocks onix with a pikachu. Yes you heard that right. I beat a gym leaders rock type with a low level ungrinded electric type without even trying. The game is so easy that it doesnt push back at all. Its a waste of time. Even for a 3 yr old. And a game has to have SOME challenge. Even easy games like mario world have some platforming and boss timing to be done. Back in the fay. We felt accomplished beating a boss. That butterfly feeling not knowing if you are high enough level. Having to find a pidgey and some grass types and grinding until you could face brock. Their was skill involved. Some games get away with being easy. But turn based rpgs arent one of them. It's easily my least favorite pokemon.
4. Parappa the rapper new addition. Its a timing game that has bad timing. Its a rythym game with input delay. Thats about all I can even say about it im so offended by its existence lol.
I know their are worse games like superman 64 and stuff but these I had so much hope for. So I think it stings more to be let down.
nintendopresents:
Side Pocket for Super Nintendo. You'd think a game about billiards with a KILLER soundtrack and awesome title screen would be fun but it's just trick shots with limited attempts otherwise game over and you gotta start over. A standard chill pool game against AI was too much to ask for apparently. But yeah due to this, the game can get very boring and tedious pretty fast.
Zombies Ate My Neighbors for Switch. Originally on the Super Nintendo, Zombies Ate My Neighbors is one of the coolest and challenging games of the "survival" genre and dare i say "zombie" genre (though not really cause zombies are only 1 of many different enemy types). The game features a really cool George A Romero style menu/title screen with very eerie music and the game soundtrack itself is very great sometimes even anxiety inducing on certain levels (IYKYK). Anyway, the Switch pretty much took the charm away by removing the title screen/menu, and all the audio is slightly pitched up higher and ends up sounding ridiculous thus killing the awesome vibe it originally had.
Also Rogue Warrior but it's fun to hear all the ridiculous inner dialogue.
EDIT: I was typing this all up at work and ran out of time, i still have more complaining to do.
uhh mfkn uhh South Park Chef's Luv Shack I don't even have to say why for this one. How did Acclaim and Iguana drop the ball 3 times with South Park Rally and South Park also!? From the devs who made the legendary Turok 2: Seeds Of Evil, you'd expect high quality fun from at least one of them.
SSX Tricky GBA port i cannot even get it to play, sometimes when the planets allign and the moon is full, i can get the character to do a spin in the air. Probably a skill issue on my part. :P

Man, that's really disappointing to hear. One of my best friends growing up had Zombies on his SNES and we both loved it. I was really happy when they ported it to modern consoles, but looks like I'll just be sticking with the ol' trusty SNES version.

Wow, what a tough take! I know it's not as good as the first, but I had fun with it. You didn't like the level with the weird lions and scorpion people? I liked that you could double wield weapons too for special combos. I'd like to go back and try it again sometime.
snyderec3:
The SNES port of Pit Fighter is a strong contender for worst game on the console. The Arcade game was alright, but the SNES port had reduced content, awful graphics, awful controls and was needlessly difficult.
