PlayChoice 10

I have a chance to buy one of these bad boys.  What would you give for a duel screen PlayChoice 10 cabinet?  I'm not sure on the games, but the seller says everything works.  It's in pretty good shape, but does have a few cigarette burns on the control panel.  It came out of a pool hall.  He shot me $500 as his first price.  How much is something like this worth?  I want one, but I'm venturing out of my realm of knowledge.  Can someone who know about this stuff help me out?
What do I need to look for when going over it?  What is a fair price?

What games are included? The price could be fair depending on that.

I've been looking at stuff online, and saw that this cabinet is missing the cover that you have to remove to pull the pcb out.  How big of a deal is that?  At least there is a ton of stuff online about these cabinets.  Maybe I can learn a thing or two.

I would think its worth it if its got all 10 spots with games in them. I think they are really cool. Im sure any of the missing pieces are replaceable too. Good luck, if you get it, I want to see it!

If I can get it for $400 I think I'll bring it home.  I'm not paying full price for this thing.  That's just how I roll.  Yeah, the games is going to be the kicker.  All 10 spots better be filled or the price drops fast.

Yeah, if all slots are filled it's definitely worth the 400 or even 500$, if not it really depends on which games are included.

Well, I pulled the trigger.  Made an offer of $300 and the dude took it.  I was willing to go up to $400.  The games were all pretty common, but they were the ones I was looking for.   In fact, 2 were so forgettable that I don't even remember what they are.
It has all 10 slots filled with SMB 1-3, Dr. Mario, Double Dragon, Mike Tyson's Punch-out!!, Contra, TMNT, and 2 more that I can't remember.  I'm super pumped on it!  I can't wait to bring it home Monday!

Nintendo PlayChoice 10 SN#003214 has made it to its new home.  I didn't know how heavy these things were.  But, I loaded it and unloaded by myself with minimal damage to the cabinet or myself.  It all works and life is good.  I tried to take a couple of pictures, but I was in a hurry to get back to work.  I'll try again when I get home.  Maybe I can get a couple posted tonight.

if you guys are looking to refurbish the thing this might help you: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/PLAY-CHOICE-10-MARQUEE-UPRIGHT-DUAL-MONITOR-GAME-/330761789886?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d02f061be
No refurbishing needed.  I don't need a marquee.  This thing is in pretty good shape.  A few scratches and dings, but hell it's 26 years old.

It was posted on Craigslist. No one else sent the person a message so I got it pretty cheap. The weird thing is Ive already dealt with the person before. I bought a horribly dirty top loader from them earlier this year for $15. I got Snow Bros for $20. They are also going to let me know if they find anything else in their storage.
