Swag?

This is probably a dumb question, but what is the 'house definition' of swag?  

To me it could include most anything: promotional items from E3, pre-order bonuses (such as cd soundtracks, t-shirts, that punching Ghaleon that came with Lunar: Eternal Blue), Kotobukiya vinyl figures, Play Arts action figures, arcade marquees, VG related carnival prizes.. etc etc.

So before I start vomiting all that into the Swag category I just want to understand the defined limits because it could really open an endless can of worms.

I suppose swag is a broad category. I would say it is any collectible that is gaming related. Like, Plushies, Key Chains, promo items/ pre-order bonuses, soundtracks, figures and anything else you listed would fit into it. But limited edition controllers and such, like the RE4 Chainsaw controller, I would list as accessories.

I know I have a wide selection of gaming related stuff too. And feel like my my WoW figures are just as much "swag" as Mega Man Legends bobble-head, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin pre-order bonus items or my Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime keychain.

Swag is a pretty free form category. I had a few users request it so I decided to add it. I figure any swag, pre-order, E3, etc is worth submitting and tracking.

Would a Video Games Live program count as swag?

Works for me. As long as you collect it and can make a quality listing for it. I have lots of unique e3 stuff that ill eventually be adding.

so swag also would include dvds, collectibles statues, anything like that right? Ive added a few new things to the Swag but was never 100% sure... lol
