Atari Headaches

So in the course of adding Atari 2600 games to the database, I've learned a lot.  Not only were games made for 5 different TV formats (NTSC, PAL, Etc.), but also different geographical regions.  I have absolutely no idea how to go about this...  Should we just keep it to North American releases?

Hmm...

In most cases the TV formats are right in-line with the geographical regions which is why we've listed everything by geo (US, JP, etc). I personally want the database to be as in-depth as possible and would love to have all geographical regions listed. How many different regions are there?

5 or 6, I forgot.  The crazy thing is that some games are cross-compatible, and they all run on the same hardware.  Atariage has lots of good info on all this.  I'm just trying to digest it all so hopefully I can figure it out.
