So my computer died, and I lost about 5 years worth of pictures and important stuff, because I'm too stupid to back up my files. Even though I have plenty of extra storage to do so, and plenty of warning signs it was going to happen.

I'm actually considering sending off to a data recovery center, which may cost hundreds, maybe a thousand dollars. It's really lame. I'm tired of this always happening. I'm going to start backing the bulk of files up onto blue ray discs for safe keeping. Hard drives are far too temporary.
hard drive failed, or computer died?

ARGH!!!

So we got the AC fixed, apparently ants got inside of the AC unit and cause problems.  Decided to hook up my recently repaired BC PS3 and play MGS collection.  PS3 went YLOD during updating.  I want to cry.

So my TV ate shit last night. All the hdmi ports quit working.

Found a fix that involves baking the video board in the oven. So, I'm baking electronics this morning and my house smells like chemicals and cancer.

Wish me luck.

Ten minutes seems like too short of a time to cook a TV video board.  Are you sure it wasn't undercooked?

Ahh the retro itch. We all get it every now and then, some more than others.

I need a cream or a shot or something.  This is going to turn into a full-on rash.

I couldn't for the life of me locate my Xbox Live email address/password when I set up the Xbone.  So instead of "Gamer From 78" as on the PS4, my XBL is "Geezer From 78."  Geezer for two reasons:  One, I'm getting old as shit and two, Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath!   :P
