Oh well, that's how it goes buying on eBay, it's a bit of a gamble. At least it works correctly.

But it's not like you can buy these at GameStop or Wal-Mart anymore, either.

I used to see them in my local GameStops but I don't know if they still carry them these days.

Thanks, but I live on a budget. I never know when I'll have the extra money for something like that.

Is there any reason to connect a PSP to internet? Other than basic browsing?

I heard the store was no longer up, anyways.

But I can't seem to get my PSP to like my WiFi. I Googled and changed it to WPA encryption, like everyone says, and it still doesn't want to connect, though it will detect it. It's like it doesn't like the password, which I know is correct because I use it on like 5 other devices in my house.

I don't think so. You can connect it to a computer with a USB cable. I did that to get music and images for wallpapers on it. Other than getting that stuff without a cable, I don't think there's any reason to need to connect to the internet with it.

I never connect mine to the internet, can do everything from connecting to a PC via the cable like Deso said.

changed it to WPA encryption

When you say you changed it to WPA, do you mean you changed the PSP to WPA or your Router to WPA?

Nah, the PSP is going back, even if eBay has to get involved. I tried it out outside today, which is mainly where I'll be using it, and the scratching quite noticeable out here...wish me luck.

Good luck! Sucks that you have to deal with it, but I don't blame you for at least trying.
