Retropalooza announced last week that they were going to do it.  I've got to practice up.

So then it's gonna be NES games, not modern Nintendo games?

The Retropalooza one is going to either be the repro cart or NES Remix.

I don't know about the Nintendo E3 one.

E3 is mid-June, but I believe these Nintendo event(s) are happening as pre-E3 stuff.
Currently playing:
FFXIV (PC), The Witcher (PC), Monster Hunter World: Iceborne (PS4)

Yeah, sorry about the confusion.  I was just saying that Retropalooza announced they were doing one last week for the 25th anniversary.

The pic is from Nintendo doing it at E3.  I was just talking about the one I'll actually play in.

As awesome an idea as this sounds, I really think this is going to be a nightmare.

NES Remix would be a perfect format for this (but involving games from all Nintendo eras).

Im not talking about the games themselves ... but the people involved. Not as much the staff as the participants/people who think they can get all the items from this event and resell them. Going to be a PR mess.
