I just got paid, after a 2nd day of contacting him, luckily.

But his response is, "It was only the 19th, dude."

I simply replied, "Thank you." But I wanted to say, "Uh yeah, 2 days ago, do you pay for an item at Wal-Mart 2 days later?"

If he won an auction then he has up to a week to pay, regardless of what you say in your listing. However you can send an unpaid item reminder (automatically, usually) after four days. If he doesn't pay four days later, he loses the item and gets a strike.

Look out for your feedback after he gets the item... some idiots like to leave retaliatory negative feedback for the most pointless reasons and sellers can't leave negs anymore.

At least you can put a reply directly under the seller's bad feedback, so you could have some say in the matter if things go bad

I haven't been to a Wal-Mart in years. Granted, there isn't one near where I live.

K-Mart is the polar opposite of classy. In fact, a good friend of mine in college coined the phrase "K-Mart syndrome" to describe a store that was just trashed - crap piled everywhere, nasty, junky, etc. "Man, I've gotta get out of this place, it has a BAD case of K-Mart syndrome!"

"Hi, I just saw the invoice but it was the same before, can't you offer a shipping discount since both items will be shipped together?"

Am I able to do this? I didn't see any option for "Offer Shipping Discount" anywhere. @_@ eBay is really starting to confuse me.

Yes this is common practice, that's mainly the point of having a "ask for invoice" option. I always try to buy items on the same seller when available precisely to save on shipping costs.
