For the beer idea, are there any places around you that let you craft your own beer? That would be fun and something you could do together.

For the coffee idea, you can always get him an espresso maker. The good ones are usually a bit more expensive, but man are they wonderful. If that's a bit of your price range, you could go for a good French Press.

You should get him some of that Kopi Luwak coffee - the stuff that's made from the beans that have been eaten and digested by civets. It's wicked expensive, (70 pounds for just a little bag) but apparently it's amazing coffee, so it's worth it right?  :D

I'm kidding, of course

Gah, my boyfriend's birthday is in 2 days and I still don't know what to offer him. He says he doesn't want anything  but he gave me something on mine so I want to give him something too, but I just don't know what. :/ anybody knows of a cool item for coffee or beer lovers?

Coffee beans of the month club? Cool coffee gadget?

A nice beer mug from a local microbrewery. Big bottom heavy mugs with handles are the best, in my opinion.

A film critic (vblogger, so an indie one) I follow on Twitter just mentioned his impressions of the new Fantastic Four movie and one of the things he says happened in the film pissed me off so much I'm considering not even watching the film at all now. :(

I'm skipping Fantastic 4 out of spite. I'm fully behind Marvel's decision to put the screws to Fox. If it does bad enough, maybe they'll let the movie rights go back to Marvel where they belong.

They won't.

Link?

REALLY DISGUSTING SPOILER, especially if you're a fan of Ben Grimm. Here. How could they screw this up SO BADLY?

It still the Fantastic Four, the birth of Marvel Comics. I am still going to go see it despite all the changes.
