Kind of sort of. I usually wake up before the alarm, anyways. Only now, I feel much more refreshed and driving into work isn't bad since it's not a total blackout.

EDIT: I continue to get astonished by "professional" review websites. The amount of flack thrown towards Legend of Legacy is insulting. It reminds me of when Enchanted Arms got bad reviews for being an RPG. One of the authors from Penny Arcade said, "Japanese role-playing games tend to be fairly linear in terms of narrative and feature a ton of strategic combat. These are genre staples. If you don't like those things, or if you wish they were something else, that isn't really the genre's fault. If you told me that you weren't fond of turf or 'kicking,' I would hope that you'd have the wisdom to avoid soccer."

What do you mean we're not fancy?  It's nothing but first rate shit on Retro Reload East Coast!

...Ok.  Maybe that was a bit of a stretch.   :P

Dungeon Siege III is free this month (later in the month) on Xbox Gold for Xbox 360, yet Xbox One just gets this crappy Myst rip-off. I'm happy with DSIII, don't get me wrong, but you'd think the more expensive Xbox One would get the better free games.

If I were the host with the most, you can best believe our gig would be the fanciest thing this world has seen.

Ill admit, I woke up a bit pissed, Kash has these tv cameras, lights, and professional edits and West Coast was still using google hangout lol.

I've heard mixed things about Legend of Legacy and wondered if I'd like it when I got around to playing it. But you know, it's definitely one of those things where I have to remind myself that ultimately I will decide whether I like the game or not.  I will usually buy Atlus titles because I believe in their products and want to support their company. That certainly doesn't mean that I'll love everything they do, but that's totally ok because someone else out there may love the same game, and that's awesome.

I'm sure you've already heard/read this before, but Legend of Legacy is a SaGa game without the SaGa title. If that sounds like something you'll enjoy, I think you'll dig it. Did you get the collector's edition? I love that art book that came with it.

Atlus is a great company. They've released some games I'm not fond of, but I will always support them whenever I can because (like you said) I believe in their products.

:O I don't think I'd heard that it was a SaGa game w/o the SaGa title.  I want to play SaGa Frontier 1 and loved what I've played of 2 many, many years ago. Definitely got the CE - I love when Atlus turns their launch copies into automatic CEs <3

Yes ma'am! It's more along the lines of the Romancing SaGa games as opposed to SaGa Frontier (SaGa Frontier 2 is an entirely different type of SaGa, but still lovely) but if you enjoy LoL, you'll like other entries in the series.

Except for Unlimited Saga. That's what adults tell their children in order to get them to go to bed sooner or finish their chores. "If you don't finish your chores, you'll be forced to play Unlimited Saga."

Quote
"Greetings from the Intergalactic Space Arcade.

There’s many changes upon us. The Classic Game Room web store, and many of the interactive features on our website will be closing by the end of the year.

With the closing of our web store, it’s unlikely that we’ll re-order t-shirts, DVDs or beer mugs when they sell out. We may not even sell them next year. If you’ve had your eyes on CGR or Undertow DVDs and gear, now is the time to get them.

CGR Undertow will cease production by the end of the year. Thank you to all of the fans who have supported Undertow and the creators of the show. I’ve witnessed many smiles when positive comments come in, or a box of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arrives at the door!

I’m going to be entering another phase of my life soon and will be concentrating on my writing, art and another career outside of the gaming industry. I plan to continue CGR as a hobby. The show originally started as a hobby, so in a way it will be returning to its roots. I certainly have enough games to keep me busy!

Thank you for being the best fans in the universe. I’ve always enjoyed that CGR has been appreciated for a being a positive review show. We’re happy that our films and products have been well received. Please give a round of applause for the amazing CGR Team who has worked hard behind the scenes to keep this crazy train rolling. Personally, I think we’ve done the best job shipping products in the galaxy! You wouldn’t believe the work that goes into carefully packing things and dropping them from orbit!

There will be a new production schedule next year, I’m not sure what form it will take yet or where the shows will be. Please continue to follow, and once again, thank you.

Mark"

Ah, good to know. And Unlimited Saga makes babies cry.  I know this all too well.  :'(
