I was there once when I was a child, but I don't remember anything about the visit. It would have been fun to see it and all of the breweries.

If you do go to Milwaukee make sure you go to The Safe House. that place is a riot.

Probably asked a hundred times by now, but because I live under a rock.... Anyone tried VR gaming? I did the other day, now I'm thinking about a PlayStation VR kinda.

Check this month's issue of Retro Gamer out. This is so awesome. In addition to the normal Retro Gamer issue (which looks like a damn fine issue, focusing on the PC-Engine), there is an entire issue, new issue of Super Play! The old Super Nintendo magazine! This one is focused on the SNES Mini, game reviews of all the games on it, and a comparison to the original SNES. As well as a few extra reviews for those "hungering for more SNES after the classic".

Just such a cool extra for a magazine!

I have the PSVR, and its fun for a while. And there are way to many horror games.

I guess horror makes the most sense. Not a lot of action from the player outside of moving, and that's the strong suit of the VR.
Soon there will be fishing!

I've only tried the PSVR at gaming events. Seems pretty neat! The price point is still too high for me, though, but at least the games are getting cheaper.

I'm still not sold at all on VR. I feel like it would get real old, real quick.

Honestly, I find the VR version of the game to be near unplayable.

I only briefly played Lucky's Tale in VR. Basically it's like you're the camera person within the world. I wouldn't expect VR to ever replace the appeal of just standard TV and controller gaming, and yes, it's not something I'd spend a ton of time with. It's still a cool experience though. If I felt like I had the money to burn, I'd probably get one but the price is nuts. I'm assuming you pretty much need the bundle with the camera and move controllers.

Ross Boss is supposed to have a booth set up at Retropalooza doing VR stuff.  Maybe he'll be able to convince you that it's fun.

Lucky you!  I'm going to try to get one when my GameStop opens.  I have one secured, but it'll have to ship.  I just want to try to find one on my own.
