Im trying to add a few items and every time I click a button, its asking me to put in my name and password for authentication. Is this new or a bug or a phishing scam?

woah woah woah. Where / how are you guys seeing this? I spent some time today attempting to completely separate dev from production. They aren't even on the same server anymore.
