I couldn't sleep this morning. So, I played through Mega Man 2.

Does it count if I've finished a game dozens of times?
Absolutely.

That last area before the boss fight, though? I wanted to stab High Moon for that alone. Especially because of the LACK OF CHECKPOINTS FOR THAT AREA which made me take ages to beat it in the toughest difficulty.

I enjoyed Deadpool but felt like it overstayed its welcome a bit.  Wasn't as good as High Moon's 2 Transformers games IMO.

Really?  I thought it was short. It might have gotten old, but it ended soon enough to leave me wanting more. I loved it.

I need to get back to Deadpool.  The game crashed on me which never happens on console, so it sorta soured the experience because it has a lot of polish issues.

I just finished Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It was pretty meh. It wasn't what I wanted from a Paper Mario game. It just makes me want a new super mario RPG even more :(

The writing was pretty good though.

Well, I can now cross Diablo off my list.  I know there is a lot of fans of the Diablo series on VG; however, I will say I was not too impressed with it.  It may be a while before I think of giving the second one a chance to play.

Just a self update for me so I can remember the games completed this year:

1.  Grand Theft Auto 3 (PS2)
2.  Resident Evil 2 (Dreamcast)
3.  Shenmue 2  (Xbox)
4.  Super Mario Bros. (NES)
5.  Super Mario Bros. 2 (NES)
6.  Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
7.  Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
8.  Wolfenstein 3D (PC)
9.  Diablo (PC)

I finally finished Giana Sisters DS recently. I thought it was a pretty fun game. Got all the red gems up to world 8. I need to go back and get the ones on those stages.

I actually bought that game day 1 because I had a bootleg of it way back when I was in high school on the C64, and I thought it was some kind of weird puberty-induced fever dream.  Was very surreal seeing that game get officially released on a Nintendo platform.   :o

Just finished a 100% run of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze today.  It was a fantastic game, I would probably put it as my third favorite DKC game behind DKC3 and DKC1.  Many of the levels in the game were freaking epic as were the boss fights.  It has been my favorite Wii U title so far and I am looking forward to getting 200% on hard mode.
