Soooo, what did Disney do with LucasArts? Why would they need to license it?

What's sad is that I'm such a Star Wars Whore, I'll buy Star Wars 2014, 2015, 2016... Every year no matter how small the changes are.
Updated Pod-Racing roster, you say?  Here's my $60, sir.

OUTstanding. Someone out there is listening. It is very mature of Disney to basically admit they couldn't do this alone.

I don't put too much stock in it. He's some guy who works at EA Sports Canada. He worked on some EA sports games. I don't care what most of the staff of NHL 13 think of the WiiU.

Also, EA picks companies to hate based on business rather than tech reasons. This happened to SEGA back in the day. It happened to Nintendo during the SNES days even (EA loved the cheap fees of the Genesis days that they worked out with their funky cart design). They weren't to be believed then, and should not be believed now. EA is not out to work on the best hardware. They are purely about the money. If Nintendo works out a deal to give EA special treatment, overnight the WiiU would be viewed as a perfect platform by EA.

now it all makes sense, EA wanted to put origin on wii u and nintendo said no and now EA is piss off that nintendo will not give them special treatment

That's pretty much what I was seeing. I didn't know exactly what deal it was. But I remember Giant Bomb saying EA didn't like a business deal with Nintendo and reacted with "that hardware sucks! We don't want to develop for it!"

Surprise!  EA can't make up their minds...

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/05/22/ea-backpedals-games-in-development-for-the-nintendo-console.aspx?utm_content=buffer3b28c&utm_source=buffer&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Buffer
so.... they created this publicity stunt that potentially damaged there all ready weak relationship with nintendo.
what exactly did they accomplish with this publicity stunt?
