Mario Bros. Movie 20th Anniversary. Leguizamo claims pioneers

Leguizamo provides a message about the movie. Calling them pioneers, talks about strippers, electrocuting people, and cutting Bob Hoskins. Plus, mentions of the fact that they were drunk most of the time. Double plus, he does a really bad cockney english accent that borders on derogatory.

given that the movie was made to be silly. I liked it pretty good.. I wouldn't say it was amazing but it was pretty good

It didn't even reflect the Mario Bros. in any way but in name, and was super cheesy to boot. How could anyone consider it good? And why would anyone celebrate one of the worst movies ever made's 20th anniversary?

I used to watch that movie all the time as a kid. I enjoyed it, for sure. Sure it wasn't really Super Mario Bros. but I don't think I would have liked it if it was the Super Mario Super Show in feature length.

Actually I picked it up a few months back for like $5 and watch it again. And I still enjoyed it.

As a kid, obviously I only watched it because of the Mario Bros. name. However, it's one of those movies that are SO bad and SO ridiculously off the mark that it's kind of good. Sometimes you just need an awful movie to laugh at once in a while.

I watched it when it first came out. I really couldnt get into it regardless of the name. It had nothing to do with the Mario Bros I knew ... same with the first Final Fantasy movie.

With that being said, I do like owning vg movies no matter how horrible they are and I will eventually pick this one up. If an anniversary version is released, I may get it too just to put it with the rest.

And since vg moves are being mentioned, I think the Cloak and Dagger movie was actually pretty cool.

The Super Mario Bros. movie is just plain awful.

Funny you mention the wizard. Its a double pack movie that came with my Cloak and Dagger.
