Quality Control experiment....
« on: June 16, 2013, 11:28:32 pm »
Just thought up an idea that might boost quality control....  I thought that if a small test of sorts were fashioned to unlock the ability to add and edit titles on the site, it could help lower the degree of users who decide not to read the style guide or just choose to ignore it altogether....  Just a whim, but with the looming update, it may be a wise time to consider it....

Ya we've thought about doing something like that before.

Foxhack plans on making a tutorial video after the new update goes into effect in order to help show people the best way to go about things is. But I agree that a little "test entry" might not be such a bad idea.

If it was a static test, then even an automated form could be used so manual moderator authorization wouldn't even need to be required since there is only one right way to do this stuff you know...?  Coding would probably be fairly easy too since it could be a carbon copy of an actual add/edit page....  Though you probably thought of that already....
