Oh, heh, yeah dont worry about how long it takes. You going slow is still faster than either of us trying to do it! Im just glad you are willing.
Loving the art in this thread so far. The NES and SNES controllers in the OP post could make great wallpapers with some tampering
Currently working on one for Castlevania - Classic NES Series. I decided to follow in the steps of the FFVI box and go with the look of the original release's box. I'm just not sure if it needs a little something on the back or not. What do you think?
That looks great! The text for the game's name on the side is a bit small, esp with the potion bottle kinda enlarged there. And as for the back, I've always been a fan of the screenshots that are usually on the back of the box. For folks who dig the front cover art but still want to know what the *actual* game looks like
Just finished this tonight. It's the map for Dragon Quest Monsters: Caravan Heart, which is almost the exact same map as Dragon Warrior II. I painted this with watercolor over the last 2.5 nights, took me a little bit to get used to watercolors again, but I think it turned out pretty alright. It's part of the giant art project that has snowballed from making that DS cover. More to come later, this is actually turning into a really fun project.
