Ding ding ding!  Thought it might be too easy, but I just liked that screenshot so much.

A great sleeper title for the DS for sure!

I have no idea, but I will say that the lack of any shadows on the ground under the guy w/ the fire sword looks strange.

Indeed.

To see this you have to be pretty far in the game...he's the final boss. He's also ridiculously difficult on the first play through.

I don't know why there's no shadow...kind of weird.

Ya there should be a hard shadow from his legs and the proximity to the light source... sometimes I hate that I notice all these little things.

Heh, it looks like the light source is coming from the flaming sword?

Ya, the light coming from the sword would cause a dark shadow behind him from his legs. Its Object Source Lighting.

Yeah, too bad it doesn't work...  Would look pretty awesome if it did.  Would imagine it'd also change how the armor was lit as well.

Well, considering where I retrieved the screen shot, it could have been altered a bit. Someone had to take off all of the stuff on the screen like the magic bars, etc. It could be a pre-release screenshot for all I know

I never noticed any weird shadowy things going on while I was playing the game. Gywn is the "Lord of Cinder" and he sort of glows so maybe he isn't supposed to cast a shadow?

Also, Peter Pan lost his shadow, maybe Gwyn lost his too!

I think I only really thought about it because I'm working on OSL with my mini painting now. So I've started looking at light sources differently because of it.
