Asian, as in Chinese knock-off.  $250 for a pirated piece of hardware from Hong Kong.  I laugh at the prospect.  Especially since Sega was able to halt production of these due to copyright violations.  Nice idea, but that's about all it is or was in this case.

eBay was littered with those things a few years ago, used to be able to get one in a custom bag for about 100 dollars
