Did anybody get the email with the release date? Its been about 3 weeks since the email and they said about 2 weeks for release date confirmation.

I'm almost not surprised that this happened but i'm still disappointed.

Welp that's the gist of it.

I really hope it comes to Xbox Live Arcade. Right now GameFAQs still has it listed as cancelled: :(

This f$#%ing game has really gotten on my last nerve. I understand that this is a very complex game and the HD conversion is no walk in the park, but good god, WM has the worst customer service/PR I've ever seen! They can't even offer us brief updates, instead we are all just left with empty pockets from the money they took and arbitrary release dates that come and go with no explanation. I seriously would cancel my preorders if I had more faith I'd actually get my money back, but I think it would just confuse them and I'd be out my money and not have anything coming my way. I turn 30 in 2017, maybe I'll be able to enjoy my Dreamcast port on my birthday that year...

I feel your pain brother. The only solace we can take is that the digital versions are out, and the Genesis prints are done. Now they can focus on our release, hopefully with some beta testing by the digital people.

I hope so. I preordered it almost a year ago and the delays bother me far less then just the info blackouts WM has become infamous for. I'm hoping we'll get it in 2015. I can only imagine how pissed the Kickstarter people are about all of this. it's been what, two years since they ran that.

well from their email from Dec 5.

"The REPRINT/REPRINT_EP Quality Control process - which was biggest reason for delay - has been finalized last Tuesday. That means manufacturing has resumed and should end December 23th.
Please then allow one-to-two extra weeks before we can ship the games to you."

so it'll be around mid Jan. for the first couple of shipments.

I'm glad they ironed that out, but that's just the Genesis reprints. I hope that means good things for the Dreamcast version, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm still surprised to hear the strategy guide isn't finished either...
