Looks like I'll be doing some cutting after all. The GBA manuals are a tad too long to fit either way in the box. But if I put them vertically in there I can cut the little lip off the top of the manual slot and they'll fit nicely.

I've also found that I'm going to want to find loose manuals for the games I don't have them for...

Welcome to my world :/

I got out my dremel tool and fit my manuals in there just fine with a certain sized cut. Looks nice in there too!

This is what I've been doing with my Neo Geo Pocket Color games. All of those are custom artwork from The Cover Project in Nintendo DS cases except the last two, which are original Japanese clam shells.

Here's the next one. Link to the Past! I actually had a lot of trouble with this, then decided to try playing with gradients and the series staple gold background. I also added a slight drop shadow to the white section to help make it pop. I updated the Minish Cap image as well.

Oh its cool, I'm enjoying the project and have no problem with however long its going to take.

Of course, if you want to use my template for your own boxes too, you're more than welcome to it.

I like yours but I'm pretty much committed to the GBA look-a-like images at this point.

True enough. BTW, when you printed yours, did you have them print more than one per page? I was thinking of having them print as many as possible on one sheet and then just cutting them myself.

Just do one per page. It sounds crazy but they really wont work any other way. Use 100lb Elite Glossy Text paper (to essentially match what Nintendo uses) in 11x17. You'll have to do some cutting for sure. I would use and exacto blade.

Ya, I have an x-acto knife and a 24" metal ruler, so I'm set on cutting tools. I'll make a note of the paper type and remember to tell them to laser print them too.

Yeah, if you don't use a laser jet you might as well print it in black and white.
