In this thread, you can leave comments/ideas/etc for the team. You can give us ideas on topics to cover, how to improve the show, things you didn't like, etc. You can also post here if you would like to appear on a show, so we remember to forward you a link so you are able to join us. As of right now, we don't publicly announce what topics we will be covering for an upcoming show. But if you would like to join the show while certain topics are being covered (example: covering certain systems). Post here, and I will make a note of it and try and make sure you get a link to join us. Please remember, even though there is a "main crew". All VGC members are welcome to join us at any time, on any show, as many times as they like. We welcome new faces to the show.

Also, if you have any contacts in the gaming industry in some way. From gaming magazines, to employees for major company's. And you think they would like to be on the show to talk about their work, and do a general one hour show. You can post here and say you have a possible guest. And one of our guys will contact you so we can proceed to get the person on our show!

I have a criticism for myself. On the show that we did on 6/25/15, I said the first Atelier that made it to the USA had the sub-title Grand Phantasm. Nope, I'm wrong and I can't believe I didn't correct myself. The first Atelier that made it the USA was Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana. Atelier Iris 3 had the "Grand Phantasm" sub-title.

And I call myself an RPG expert...I guess I'll use the "I'm still on vacation time" excuse for that slip up. XD

I've got my own show that I record once (or more times) a week so I wouldn't be around weekly, but I'd love to jump in on the show every couple of weeks. I'm on the west coast.

We dont really use google plus. most of us hate it haha.

East Coast:

6:30pm - 7:30pm Pacific
9:30pm - 10:30pm Eastern


We might be skipping Thursday, but will have a Tuesday show if you would like to join.

I haven't listened to the Podcast extensively or read the general forum topic, so forgive me if this has been covered before, but has there been any discussion about putting the podcast on Itunes and/or PodOmatic? I use Itunes to download a lot of podcasts so it would be great to have it on there for downloading if that's at all possible. Thanks!

We'very tossed around the idea of making a .mp3 version it's mainly in that "how" stage. And you got to remember we're still very small. So don't expect anything soon.

I can easily download the episodes from YouTube and pull the audio track in premiere.

The bigger problem is the audio quality of google hangout sucks more than the CDi.

The problem with video/audio quality is not limited to hangouts... it's tough to find a good, free video conferencing service or software. Even skype.

On my show we use skype to talk (we're in different cities) but we record with audacity and then I edit the individual audio files together after we're done recording.

We're learning as we go and will, in a few weeks (after my associate finishes moving), probably completely overhaul it: new name, get ourselves up on Podomatic and iTunes, etc. etc. We are up on Tumblr at wxyshow.tumblr.com

Definitely start with the newer stuff, the first couple of episodes are pretty rough :lol: I personally think the cast about gaming Narrative is our most interesting bit but we also side track talking about movies a lot in that one (that's also not a "main" episode, my co-host Willie is absent in it).

Yeah. I hear you and that makes sense. I was just wondering if that was something planned for down the line at all I could just do Youtube to MP3 haha

Perhaps maybe thumbnails for the videos up on YouTube, and a updated profile pic would look pretty cool. Also for the channel you should and Channel Shelves and a Channel Trailer and get rid of the YouTube Channel feed.

mrnikon did that for one or two episodes. Hopefully he can do that for the rest of them. He's a creative and crafty fellow.

Who handles your YouTube stuff for the most part? I'm looking at teaching myself video editing for video reviews of games, short let's plays (when I say short I do mean ~10 minute or under videos after editing with an LP/review format) and... Cooking videos, primarily for a friend. But I know nothing about YouTube aside from a couple of videos of my baby that I've posted for family overseas haha

Welp... according to the sched this starts in 5 minutes. If I don't make it on to todays show that's fine... I suppose I could go on the Eastern show on Thurs- even though I'm probably farther west than any of y'all xD
