Now I have to get a PlayStation 4 since the new Star Ocean 4 is only going to be on it here in the states. Time to start pinching pennies and making shelf space for another console.

Being such a big JRPG fan, wasn't it kind of a given you were gonna have to get a PS4 soon-ish anyway?

Honestly, I was trying to hold out as long as possible since there were a bunch of PS3 games that needed my attention and since dropping 400 dollars on a console instead of some lovely new games is always difficult. When I get the PS4, it's going to open the floodgates for a whole new set of games that will require my attention.

This is a list I compiled of games coming out this year that I actually want to get.  Despite the strong showing of Sony, they didn't actually have much coming out this year and all their big stuff won't be anytime soon.  Wii U is killing it this year.  I plan to get a PS4 still, but it's clear I can wait till next year when all the big games actually come out.

Way too many amazing games for both the PS4 and non-exclusives... I'm going to HAVE to shell out for F4 (even though I didn't like F3, Bethesda sold me as hell on F4), Doom... Last Guardian...

I'm actually really thankful that Nintendo didn't wow me too much this morning, I can't afford two new systems in the next calendar year haha

Welcome aboard!  I love my PS4.  Tons of games on it despite the naysayers online.  Two free games every month with PSPlus.  Just so much good to say about the system itself, the games and what is yet to come.

Oh, I'm sure it is. I just wanted to hold out longer. I'll be getting it just for Star Ocean 5, but knowing I can play the PS4 version of ToZ, Shenmue 3, and a few other cross-platform titles is a small comfort. Also, I'll finally be able to play Omega Quintet.

Definitely not, it's a day-1 buy for me. Loved the first one.
