Pin bot for the NES
« on: September 27, 2015, 02:26:35 pm »
When i searched for it, i wrote pinbot and got only the USA version.

If you write it like pin bot, then you get the Canadian and European version, not the USA version.

The strange thing is, the USA version is also written like pin bot, so with the space.

You know just yesterday, I only just noticed that Ghosts 'n Goblins in Europe is actually 'Ghost 'n Goblins'.  Singular Ghost, only one.

All the "Pin Bot" entries in the database are actually wrong. The name should be rendered as such:

PINĀ·BOT

With the dot between the two words. This is how IPDB has it:
http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=1796

However, other sources have it with a * (Pin*Bot) instead, such as KLOV:
http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9014

You can verify the correct rendering of the name from the manual:

Yes, i entered yesterday the French version, the first one is the german version.

Still leaves my question if i search for it with pinbot, or pin bot.
