The Wii U may have a small library, and the third party support is few and weak, the first party support is almost entirely comprised of must haves.

Notable third party titles:
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Rayman Legends
Shovel Knight
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition (If not just for the silly gimmicky things)

Notable let downs:
Watchdogs
ZombiU

I haven't got Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker yet as I didn't particularly enjoy those sections of 3D World. Is the game much more built upon than say the levels in Super Mario 3D World?

There's more to it, but it's still the same gameplay. So if you didn't like those levels, you might not like the game I'd think.

Since you guys mentioned most of the good stuff so far, I'll say that the Deus Ex: Human Revolution DC is actually pretty good and utilizes the Gamepad to a great degree, and that Wonderful 101 is also pretty fun despite the framerate issues. Xenoblade Chronicles X has also been getting alot of great reviews; still need to pick that up.

Letdowns: Devil's Third
Tank! Tank! Tank!- No idea why this terrible game got a physical home version , and a reprint as well.

My wife actually loves Tank Tank Tank.  I don't know why either, we only have the free download.

I'll need to keep an eye out for that.

My favorite games right now:
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water
Mario Kart 8
Super Smash Bros.

Which is really all the games I got besides Zombi U. Games I've played at friends' houses that I've liked are Splatoon and Super Mario Maker.

The free download is the only version I have as well. But if you get the full game, the single player story mode requires a ton of replayability of previous levels in order to get a certain amount of medals to unlock levels. Combine that with the gameplay and it gets pretty boring and repitive fast. Local multiplayer seems to be the best thing about the game.

All right, I might pass it up for now. Maybe if it ever drops below 30 bucks I'd get it.

For me, my exclusive favorites have been

-Hyrule Warriors
-Zelda: Wind Waker HD
-Mario Kart 8
-Splatoon
-Bayonetta 2
-Smash Bros

Other good ones, including multi-platform, but worth getting if you don't have them on other stuff.

-Wonderful 101
-Shovel Knight
-Ducktales Remastered
-Super Mario 3D World
-Captain Toad
-Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze
-Xenoblade Chronicles X
-Super Mario Maker
-Sonic Allstars Transformed

Only bad games I've seen or played was ZombiU and I watched enough of Devil's Third to see how disastrous that is.

^ ZombiU was just too damn hard. So easy to get killed. And so scarce on supplies. You're constantly just looking for healing supplies and weapons.
