The site no longer allows for the addition of items with titles with 1 or 2 characters. 
I found a workaround, if anything...
Looks like you can submit an edit for a name that's smaller than 3 characters.
So I'd create that item (with a longer name), then go back in and edit it to the correct, shorter name.
