if you are just looking for old game cartridges then go to your local video game store (one that will sell cartridge games) and buy all their sports games. chances are good they will drop the price if you are buying more than 1 of the same game.

my local game store has 40+ combats for the Atari 2600 normally priced a buck a piece but if you were to buy them all I guarantee you can get them ~50-75 cents a piece. and a Atari cart should fit a raspberry pi almost perfectly and does not require a special bit to open. they also have about that many bulls vs blazers for the genesis that they cant get rid of. generally speaking though they will sell any nes cart they get in because the collectors are just everywhere for them.

If the store does consignment, they may even hook you up if you do consignment through them.

Sadly I dont think we have any retro game shops. And I live in New Orleans and still none. Whats the name of these shops you speak of? Maybe I can contact them for mail order.

Sadly I dont think we have any retro game shops. And I live in New Orleans and still none. Whats the name of these shops you speak of? Maybe I can contact them for mail order.

the specific shops I go to are videogames etc and Disc replay. neither of these places to mail orders but you can try calling around to all the Mega Replay maybe an owner would consider it to get rid of the undesirable games they have too much of.

and to further help you out I just did a quick search through yellow pages in new Orleans and found these 2 shops. couldn't tell you prices or inventory so you will have to call them up/go to the shop to see for yourself.

Gameloft

Play N Trade
5300 Tchoupitoulas St, New Orleans, LA 70115 - location 1
1615 Poydras St # 1020, New Orleans, LA 70112 - location 2
(504) 895-2185
says they deal in retro

there are a lot more listed but most of them look like video gambling places. hope this helps you.
