What Do You Think Is The Greatest Console Of All Time?

For me It would have to be the PS3 Superslim 250 gig model. It is a vary reliable thing and you can go online with it and every thing else. But the major downside is you cannot play PS2 games on it becuase it has no PS2 hardware. the fats overheat and don't last long in most cases otherwise that would be my vote.

I'll second the PS2, though the Nintendo Switch is slowly climbing the ranks for me personally.  Didn't see that coming!

My personal favorite would be the NES. It's what I grew up gaming on, and what I fell in love with gaming on. And so many fantastic franchises started on the NES. And it saved console gaming in the U.S.

Based on my gaming experiences, I'd have to go with PS2. Three games on that system are in my top games of all time. Although, I haven't really played enough consoles so my opinion could very well change over time as well.
Currently Playing:
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (PS4), Resident Evil 5 (PS4), Pokémon: Ultra Moon (3DS), SSX3 (PS2)

PS2 will always be my favorite console of all time :).   Xbox One is really climbing my list though :).

PS2 will most likely never be topped for me.  It's the console I grew up with and when I think back to a fond memory from my childhood PS2 is usually involved.  It was truly ahead of it's time and changed the entire fabric of gaming for the better.  It's library is massive, it's controller is flawless and it's nostalgia is incredible.   RPGS, Platformers, Shooters, racers,  endless variety.  Flawlessly executed. :D.

Here is my current top 5 consoles of all time :)

1. PS2
2. Xbox One
3. PS3
4. NES
5. Switch/Wii U

That's why I love the PS2. It truly has something for everyone, and not just one or two games per genre, all kinds of stuff in between as well.

What do I think is the greatest consle of all time?  That's a big question.
Are you asking my favorite to play?  That'd be the NES.
My favorite to collect for?  That's the NES too.
The system that I think has the best games?  That'd be the SNES.
Or are you asking which system is the most powerful?  I guess that'd be the Xbox One X.  (It's more powerful than the PS4 Pro, right?)

This is a crazy hard question to nail down.

Qualitywise I like SNK's Neo Geo AES system the most but I acknowledge that its impact and importance on the mass market and video game industry was very limited - to say the least. On the other hand it effectively scared off western crap-publishers like Ubisoft and EA from publishing their retarded franchise shit for this masterpiece.

It is far from beeing my favorite console.
However, if we consider the change it represented not only to the gaming comunity, but to the entertainment industry as a whole, I will have to go with the PlayStation 2.
