Yeah? Certainly not all of them, but there's plenty of old games that hold up just fine.  50 years from now, anyone could easily hop back into Super Mario Bros and play it just fine.

It really depends on the person really considering your topic I'd say they do not hold up for you and you would rather play something modern nothing wrong with that.

I will say that even the best retro games do not hold up for the majority of people if were truly fair It's the minority of people who enjoy them and even less people for the more obsecure non mainstream retro games.

Well... thinking rationally about this subject, I believe that many of the games that I used to praise in the 90’s are almost unplayable now. A couple of days ago I inserted Slime World into my Mega Drive for the first time in 20 years or so and... WOW! It was absolutely awful!!
