A hooker.

I made a deal on Craigslist to meet a guy to buy Record of Lodoss War on Dreamcast. Was supposed to meet him in a hotel parking lot in town. Waited for about 20 minutes, guy never showed, I give up. On my way out, I see a woman standing out front, so I pull up and ask her, "Are you waiting for someone?" She replies, "Depends, are you looking for a date?" Took a second, then it clicked in my head. I'm like, "Ohhhh, no, I'm not. Sorry." Then went home to my wife. Never did get that game until a few years later from someone else. (Grindiest game I've ever played. Sucked.)

I have gotten almost gotten into fights with people (usually old people) who try to edge their way in front of me while I am looking at something or attempt to take something out of my hands.

Something similar happened to me several years ago. I found a garage sale on Craigslist that promised a ton of retro games, some of them were even mentioned specifically in the ad. In order to score as much of them as possible I actually arrived like an hour early to the garage sale the next day. I'm the first one there, and the couple holding the sale are still setting up and ask me if I could come back when the sale actually starts. I respect their request (after all, I don't want to piss them off and get a worse deal on the games, or don't get them at all) and I wait in my car until the sale starts. About 15-minutes before the sale is about to start (the couple is still setting up at this point still) an older lady in her early 60s pulls up, talks to one of them and then I see a large tote get brought out and immediately spot her taking Dreamcast games out. I practically leap out of my car, forgetting how shitty it was for the couple to tell me to wait, but this lady gets to go through the games early, but whatever. The lady has only grabbed about 3 games as she is checking a spreadsheet she brought with her that has a bunch of game values on it. Because I actually love retro games, and am not just some opportunistic reseller who is just looking to make a quick buck, I know immediately what everything is and am grabbing things left and right while she is pestering one of the sellers about a copy of Digimon World that was mentioned in the ad. Also, this lady is getting noticeably frustrated as I am grabbing all the games she wants. She steps away from the tote she was originally looking through for a minute, still trying to hunt down Digimon World while there are many other games there that are more valuable, so I head over to the tote she was looking at. She then leaps back over to that tote and practically lays on top of it while I'm looking through it. I politely say "excuse me" and she just looks at me like "fuck off!" I then very gently grab her arm and move it off the tote. She was either not expecting that or was intimidated at that point and backs off on trying to claim entire sections of the sale to herself. I ended up getting probably $600 worth of games for about $60, while she was able to grab a few $20 SNES games, Power Stone and Power Stone 2 (those hurt seeing her get those), and I believe several other $15 and under Dreamcast games. Funny enough I don't think she ever found Digimon World in the end lol.

Off the top of my head I bought a copy of Resident Evil 2 on the PS1 that had several porn DVDs in it in addition to the game disks. I'm not sure if the flea market seller put them in there or the person who owned the game before him stashed their porn collection in that case, maybe to hide them from parents or a girlfriend, but I ended up buying everything, porn and all for like $3. I honesty can't remember what ever happened to the porn lol. Probably threw them away ;)

Ha! that's pretty funny to be honest. I too had a surprise with Resident Evil 2 for the PS1, bought a second hand copy in mint condition from a friend of a friend. Got home and found a pepperoni slice in between the pages of the manual... Luckily it was hardened already so it was easy to remove, but still had that pizza cheese grease residue on it... Had to use alcohol to lightly remove it and not damage the paper...

I got it for cheap during its initial launch, I think less than $20 so I couldn't really complain much.

I saw a man wearing a pink renaissance or something satin silky like uniform he had long hair. all he was missing was carrying a stick pin. Anyway I kinda thought he was a pick pocket I watched him vary close. It may have not been exactly renaissance wear, but I could tell it was something that looked both old possibly 1970's wear and expensive to afford back in the 1970's. But the clothes looked in new condition.

he looked like he was a pimp of some kind to sum things up.

Ehhhh, this is a bit embarrassing but, when I was a little kid (probably around 8 years old) I came across my older brother's hentai collection while looking for my Game Boy Advance that he borrowed under his bed. He's eight years older than me, and I couldn't look him in the eye for a few weeks after that.

I kept my hentai vhs collection right out in the open, in my room on a shelf with the rest of my anime.  I was still living with my parents, I was well below 18 and I didn't care.

On to the topic at hand the strangest would be when cruising local yard sales.  To set the stage I live in rural Southern Missouri. Our biggest export is methamphetamine, so you never quite know what you're going to find at these things.  Somebody had a Sega Genesis model 3 several games and all the hookups for sale.  Right next to it were several other boxes one with "only worn a couple of times" women's undergarments.  The other held "lightly used" sex toys.

That was the most awkward conversation I have ever had.  I didn't buy it needless to say.
