I am in awe at the size of your collection.Flea, if you don't mind my asking, I was just curious as to what you do for a living that allows the time, etc for the collection size that you have? All good if you don't want to say.
I work for an airport, that's really all I need to say. I don't have kids (other then me) or a wife that take up my time.
Don't get me wrong, I have had many relationships (and the game collection was never an issue) just never worked out.
I've been collecting video games sense I was young, I always joke I started at 7 when my grandfather bought me my first Atari 2600.
Still have it in my collection to this day. At 16+ I used to ride around on a bike just picking up any old games I could from garage sales.
I buy and sell retro games I find at garage sales, I make some paypal bucks then turn around and buy something I always wanted for my collection. This helps a lot getting rarer games and systems in my collection.
Having a large collection it does make it hard to "play" every game, some I just sample, others I never get around too, especially newer games. I just like preserving video games and its like a large library, sometimes I have people over and I love watching them turn to a kid again and play older games or sometimes they bring their kids and they usually want to play newer stuff and I don't mind.
Had a few crying as their parents try to get them to leave. lol
A large video game collection isn't for everyone, very few have one. I have inspired others in my area to build game rooms and a few are as bad as me. Maybe I'm a bad influence. lol
The game selection itself is also woeful. You'd think Europeans would finally get some love from Sony in the form of all the PlayStation games never released in Europe (I'm looking at Chrono Cross, Einhänder, Tales games, etc.) but fat chance of that happening.Europe is always shafted when it comes to Japanese games and consoles.
Aside from the weapon degradation and how tedious it can be traversing the map at times, I'm enjoying it. I'm still in awe at the size of the map. It really does feel huge as opposed to some open world maps, if that makes sense.I'm still playing Breath of the Wild after starting it two weeks ago.
Your avatar makes it look like it's going a little tough for you in BotW, lol. How're you liking it?
