I was scrolling around through some sites and I always end up on Gamestop's site to see if any new releases are announced. Then I saw a game that was released 3 weeks ago already marked down $20 (Battleborn). Why the fuck did I pre-order this game if I could have just waited a couple of weeks to save $20? I wish I opened it. The return policy is 1 month on unopened items. I could just return it and rebuy it.

Phew, glad I dodged that bullet and skipped this game. It was on my list to buy since it was first officially announced but something told me to wait it out a little for feedback.

Not really video game related but I purchased The Batman Files which is a book as well as some other books I won't really mention because it's neither video game or comic book related.

Yup, can be merged or one could be deleted since it wasn't in anyone's collection yet.

I was going to edit my entry when it was officially announced but I assumed since I didn't in time, someone would make a dupe with the correct title and mine would be erased. No worries. Thanks.

Silver Surfer (NES).  People who beat it are immortal. I don't believe it is beatable.

That game is beyond hard.  It's the devil.

Double post. I'd argue a difference between genuinely hard games and games that are poorly designed that make it hard.

Saying you hate something and then buying it? Uh...that exists? The only conclusion I can come to is that it's a popular game among their friends and so they have no choice but to buy it in order to play with their group of friends and stay socially relevant in and/or around said group.

Master Chief because it looks cool and looks sturdy. I think some are saying Samus only because they enjoy the Metroid games more, instead of choosing the armor because of how they think it looks or how practical or impractical it is.

You can hop into Arkham City without playing Asylum but for reference sake, I'd suggest playing Asylum.

Street Fighter II Turbo was my first SF and it was good but Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold is my favorite as of now.

i don't know much about this scene because I always turned a blind eye to emulators and things of that nature..

i have become interested in some fan-made carts lately, though. There is one game I would love to get on a cart, and I think the English patch exists but I can't find a cart for sale (or even mentioned) anywhere online.

remember, i know nothing about this...   can that english patch be put on a SFC or SNES cart fairly easily by someone who knows what they are doing? (not me) if there are people out there who do that kind of thing I'd pay for it to be done

Yes, there are websites and sellers on eBay that sell various English translated cartridges of games such as Mega Man and Bass for SNES and Mother 3 for GBA. Try to avoid sellers from China, from personal experience and from reading other experiences people have had with them, the quality isn't the best. I'm sure you'd be able to find a US seller on eBay who sells what you want if you do some searching and if they don't have exactly what you're looking for, try shooting them a message to see if it could be done for you.
